it's not called gymnicetics

So, my day didn't go to badly. I was quite productive and got my to do list down to less than 20 things! Woohoo! Now if my work was just as productive at hiring someone new...

At 4, my boss walks by and says "go home." I gladly oblige. At 4:30 I am halfway home taking my normal route of straight down ogden and think to myself "I'm making really good time." Um, yeah, that's when I come to a halt and crawl forward for the next half hour. After crawling, for so long, I finally come to what has been causing the backup: an overturned truck or something that caused them to block off a huge section of the road with no way to get past. They managed to block it so that with no warning, your only option was to get onto 294S. Now, as most of you know, I hate highways, I avoid them at all costs. They confuse me and scare me. And because of this, if I get onto a highway, I will have no idea where I am or way to go to. So, as I veered onto said highway, I immediately began crying and shaking. I picked up my phone and called my dad. No answer. I dialed someone else who I didn't want to call because I was not speaking to them but had no choice. Luckily, he picked up and guided me to safety. After leaving an hour early, I managed to make it home at my normal time. :(

After that ordeal, it was time for a girls night out of dinner, shopping, and a movie. We decided to go to Ed Debevic's because it was right near the theater and Jenny has never been there before and I haven't been there since after homecoming my senior year of high school. It was, well, kind of lame. So, the hostess was all, NICE, and NORMAL. What's with that? And it was swarming with little kids and the waiters weren't that MEAN or anything. Seriously, if you go to Eds never go to the Yorktown crap version. Go downtown.

Afterwards we walked the mall a bit and almost got trapped in the Carson's but managed to escape in the nick of time! Then we went to see the best movie I've seen all year (and I am probably saying that because it was the first movie I have seen)... STICK IT!!!! It was good, but not as good as Bring It On (although I seriously doubt any movie could be as good as Bring It On).

That is all because I am tired now.
