So, I was supposed to go to a wine bar tonight with MattyK and some of his friends. Alas, his friends ran late with their dinner and weren't going to be able to make it. This made me pout because I haven't gone out in a few days (see below) and I wanted to spend one last night out as a blonde (hehe). So, we decided that we'd go to a wine bar near him instead. Alas, by the time we got there (after a detour to his office) they were closed. What kind of a bar closes at 9??? So, we decided to be ultra classy and go back to his place to have some wine and cheese and crackers. Yup. Wine, Ritz crackers, and American Cheese slices. :) We're classy folk. I tried to make it nicer by making little flowers out of the cheese (like they show on the back of the Ritz box) and his dad even lit us a candle, hehe. It was no Parallel blue cheese stuffed dates and Rosa Regale, but it was yummy all the same.

So, what have I been doing nonstop for the past four days that has lead me not to leave the house??? Working on this: valeriebromann.com! Don't you worry, this site isn't going away, so you'll still get my pointless daily posts, but I needed a more professional alternative to put on my resume so I can apply for jobs. Yay! So, tomorrow will be spent mostly just applying away (and packing for D.C.!).
