pretty blue lights along the way help you right on by
1. Whose bright idea was it for me to take the train home after work and immediately turn around and drive back to the city?
2. I finally made it to the Chicago Outdoor Film Festival for the last movie of the year: Sound of Music with JoeW and Meredith (by "with" I mean I saw it with them, not that they were starring in the film).
3. Meredith makes good curry chicken salad. JoeW is a dork.
4. There is no better setting for a movie that in front of the Chicago Skyline (minus the drunk idiots).
5. I got lost ON LAKE SHORE DRIVE. How in the hell is that possible? The entrance to 55 just disappeared. I swear.
6. If you exit LSD in Hyde Park you are taken immediately into an apartment complex parking lot. I swear that too.

The Sound of Music, along with science fiction, I feel is directly responsible for my warped view on relationships. When Liesel and Rolf dance in the gazebo and sing "Sixteen going on Seventeen" my mom looked at her 5 year old son and said "That's how you'll know when you're in love, when you can do sponataneous choreography with your sweetheart."
Soooo not kidding.

Ifyou exit LSD at soldier field and try to drive into the loop, you end up at a vacant railroad lot. i swear. i mean, why do they even have the street that goes under lsd, if it just goes to a creepy vacant railroad lot?
