| On The Sandy Shore of Cherryblossum Lake
Tommy walked out of the old red brick house in the middle of Cherryblossum Ridge.
Cherryblossum Ridge was the most beautiful rode. Every house was the same. They all were made of old red bricks. With a beautiful window and gold nob on every door. But the most beautiful thing was that in front of every house there was a beautiful cherry tree.
Tommy walked down Cherryblossum Ridge. It was a long street and at the end was the sandy shore to a beautiful lake, Cherryblossum Lake.
Tommy loved Cherryblossum Lake. The beautiful shore was like his second home. He went there after school, after dinner, on the weekend, and he spent most of his summer
vacation there.
Tommy had tons of time to sit on the sandy shore. He did his homework there and he watched the beautiful water.
Tommy had so much time to sit there, to much time. Tommy didn’t have any friends, but he never thought about it. People would think he would be lonly, but he never
thought about being lonly.
Tommy walked down the street. Now he was only about 21 blocks away.
Tommy didn’t have books or papers under his arms like usual because school had been out for weeks now.
Tommy stopped about a 1/2 block away from the lake. He was standing in front of the most beautiful house of all.
In front of the door was an emerald green carpet that said Welcome in gold cursive. Next to the door was a red mailbox that said The Mcaficey’s in gold cursive.
The curtains were all white with gold stitches and made by Mrs. Mcaficey. And in front of the house there was even grass that was deep green, and the cherry tree had big round deep red cherrys.
Tommy started walking again. Finally he reached Cherryblossum Lake.
Tommy walked over to 1 of the cherry trees and sat down under it. Carefully he opened his lunch.
